WAREHOUSE SAFETY SUPERVISOR - DIRECT-HIRE - 30+ MILES NORTHEST OF NASHVILLE, TN
THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a global distributor and manufacturer in their search for a Warehouse Safety Supervisor to help maintain safety in their warehouse operations! The focus of the position is to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all warehouse employees and personnel.
Essential Job Duties: • Enforce OSHA and warehouse regulations. • Lead safety training and inspections. • Manage accident responses and root cause analysis. • Oversee safety equipment and supplies. • Chair Safety Committee and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. • Manage 1 direct report • Additional duties as required, with up to 10% travel.
Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. • AED/CPR Certified, Instructor preferred. • Minimum 4 years of warehouse safety experience. • Prior leadership experience is preferred. • Knowledge of ISO 45001 & OSHA VPP requirements. • Strong analytical and communication skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. • Compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations. • Ability to stand, sit, and move in various environments. • Visual acuity and tactile sensitivity. • Tolerance for different temperatures and environments.
Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule: • Position will be stationed at the Portland, TN facility. • 100% onsite • Schedule is Monday to Friday - primarily 1st and 2nd shift hours required. • All candidates must have some flexibility to work extended hours across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts • Salaried position - the pay starts at $80, 000/year. • Direct-hire opportunity!
