THE RIGHT STAFF is currently seeking Tier 1 Technical Support candidates for an entry level IT support position. 1st and 2nd shifts available!

As a Technical Support Specialist, you would provide Tier 1 technical support related to the companies software products. Serving as the first line of support for customers in need of technical assistance. Responsibilities would include logging service tickets, replying to chats/emails and escalating all technical support requests as needed.

• 6 Month Contract possibly longer
• 1st and 2nd shift availability some weekends may be required
• Pay $16-$16.50 per hour

RESPONSBILITIES FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
• Perform first entry level IT support-related activities on issues regarding the use of company product software(s) for all internal and external customers in a professional manner.
• Correspond with customers via telephone, chat, and email. Enter in requests to their ticketing system, perform timely escalation of pending support-related issues to various departments for further analysis and resolution.
• Keep the Product and Technical Support Knowledge base up-to-date.
• Perform quality assurance and release review processes by using and testing company products and documenting where improvements are needed.
This is a contract position with potential to become hired on. Ideal for candidates looking for an Entry level IT position. The project is anticipated to go through the end of November 2019 with the possibility of exceptional candidates turning temp to hire.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
• 2 years of equivalent customer support experience required, preferably in a high volume call center.
• Associates or Bachelor s degree highly preferred
• Prior knowledge of web technology/network infrastructure is a plus. Prior experience in a technical related role is preferred.
• Ability to work as a team
• Must have strong Customer Service Skills
• Knowledgeable in the basic skills of technical support
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Professional phone presence, and strong communication skills both Verbal and in writing
• Professional correspondence with external customers as well as in-house customers is obtained via telephone, face-to-face, live chat, and email
