Sourcing Analyst Openings - Long-Term Contract - April/May Start Dates!
THE RIGHT STAFF is exclusively partnering with a global distributor in search for multiple Strategic Sourcing Analysts to join their Strategic Sourcing Department for a long-term contract opportunity, working 100% remotely + 25% travel required to supplier sites, both domestically and internationally.
The Strategic Sourcing Department is responsible for strategically sourcing a specific Category with goals of following the overall organizational strategy including the total cost of ownership through product, quality, technology, and piece part savings and this position plays a critical role in supporting these efforts.
All candidates must live in the continental United States and be a US citizen or US Permanent Resident to be considered further.
Essential Job Duties:
• Analyze economic, industry, and market data
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives with data analysis, reporting, management updates, etc.
• Support Strategic Sourcing Managers with contract negotiations
• Participate in supplier site visits to support interviews and evaluate suppliers
• Coordinate with other functions of the business to understand and document all aspects of cost, current state, and needs/wants/interests
• Assist with RFQ / RFP bid packages and their collection and analysis
• Collect information from various internal ERP systems and databases and turn it into sourcing business intelligence
• Work with business functions such as finance, product management, operations, and sales on special projects and collect and report information
• Collaborate with suppliers in activities such as KPI measurement and tracking, spend reporting, cost take-out projects, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business (e.G. Analytics, Finance, etc.) or Supply Chain from a 4-year college or university preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and experience with data visualization (PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
• Capable of applying Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies based on project requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Strong time management skills - the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Highly developed attention to detail
Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule:
• Position is 100% remote (onsite work area is available in some locations if desired).
• 25% travel required to Supplier Sites (Domestic + International).
• Long-term contract opportunity (9+ months) - April/May 2025 start.
• Offering W2 & 1099 employment options (depending on location).
• Pay ranges from $30/hr. To $45/hr.
• Schedule is Monday to Friday.
• Core business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
