THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking experienced accounting professionals for our well-established manufacturing client in Eagan, MN. Ideal candidates will have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and reconcile all G/L accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
• Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain internal control safeguards.
• Assist in establishing financial and operating benchmarks and reporting standards on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Coordinate activities of external auditors and prepare interim and year end audit schedules.
• Work closely with executive team and managers to ensure that company-wide operation is efficient and effective.
• Assess, execute, and streamline policies, procedures, controls, and most methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
SPECIFIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other, business-related field
• 5+ years' experience in internal / private accounting
• Previous experience in public accounting a plus
• Experience managing AP and/or AP teams.
• Strong data analytics, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines.
• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement.
SPECIFIC SCHEDULE, PAY, & BENEFITS:
• Immediate need for a Sr. Accountant
• Located in Eagan, MN - 75% to 50% onsite
• Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Pay depends on experience - starts at $78, 000/year + annual bonus.
