THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a reputable mid-sized public accounting firm in their search for a Staff Accountant to join their Audit & Assurance department. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a full-time Staff Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's firm's success by delivering exceptional service to their privately held business clients.
Essential Job Duties: • Deliver outstanding client service. • Research and apply accounting standards updates. • Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements. • Use accounting and client-specific software effectively. • Perform audit, review, compilations, and other accounting duties. • Demonstrate commitment to professional development.
Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in accounting. • Minimum 3 years experience in accounting/audit for privately held businesses. • CPA license preferred or CPA candidate required. • Minimum 54 hours per week, January through mid-April.
