Shipping Clerk – Contract-to-Hire/Full-time – 100% Onsite in Chanhassen, MN

We are assisting our client with a Shipping Clerk opportunity in Chanhassen, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, carrier selection, tracking updates, and coordination of daily warehouse shipping activities.

100% On-Site in Chanhassen, MN
Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Pay: $21–$23/hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
Review daily shipping schedules and prepare outgoing orders based on pick lists and production requirements
Build, package, and label shipments to ensure safe and professional delivery
Verify order accuracy by confirming all items are included prior to shipment
Process outgoing shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight services
Select cost-effective shipping methods when not pre-determined
Enter and maintain accurate shipping data, including carrier, tracking numbers, shipping dates, and costs
Update proprietary systems, spreadsheets, and logistics databases with shipment activity
Prepare pallets, stage outbound materials, and assist with truck loading as needed
Perform basic administrative and reporting functions related to shipping and inventory movement
Collaborate with internal teams including sales coordination, deployment, and accounting
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Support receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations as needed
Minimum Requirements
1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (relevant experience may be substituted)
Familiarity with UPS/FedEx shipping systems and basic logistics procedures preferred
Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment preferred (certification a plus)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process and verify orders
Excellent organization, multitasking, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Technical proficiency with computers, shipping systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, databases); MS Dynamics–Solomon experience a plus
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn quickly
Dependable, reliable, and consistent attendance is required as an essential function of the role
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English
Ability to work independently while also supporting team-based warehouse operations
