Benefits of the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
• Pay is $65k - $72k+ DOQ
• Direct Hire
• Located in Bloomington
• Hours are Monday through Friday

Responsibilities of the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
• Supports employees and management to communicate and to answer questions related to various human resources policies, procedures, program, laws, and other government regulations
• Assists to develop strategies to adhere to and document compliance to company policies, procedures, and government regulations
• Manages employee handbook revisions, and distribution
• Maintains EEO-1 and Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity record maintenance, reporting and logs for compliance
• Promote and support workplace diversity initiatives
• Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline and other employment issues
• Participate in benefits administration to include enrollment communication, education, and claims resolution
• Support talent management by analyzing job duties, create job descriptions and postings, and candidate search
• Ensure a safe work environment as advisor for employee safety programs, healthcare worker immunizations, welfare, wellness and make recommendations for changes
• Assists with the creation, implementation and ongoing administration of performance management system and processes
• Assists with the establishment of employee training that addresses the company's training needs including assessment, new employee orientation, development, and compliance
• Proactively refine HR operations by eliminating unnecessary procedures, automating applicable tasks, and simplifying actions where possible
• Coordinate collaborative efforts to attain and ensure widespread buy-in acceptance and success of deliverable
• Create and implement comprehensive project plans ensuring the project deliverables are achieved on time an in line with budgetary guidelines.
• Assure compliance with Federal and State laws and mitigate risk by staying aware of current HR practices and changes in employment law
• Other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements of the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
• Bachelor s degree in HR or related field or combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with minimum 1-2 years of compensation, compliance, training, and development
• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
• Working knowledge of employment laws and practices, required. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and other HR systems.
• Must be innovative and proactive in fast-paced environment with a willingness to adapt
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
• Ability to anticipate complications related to processes while having an organized and systematic approach
• Individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
