REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Quality Control Technology coursework leading to QC Certification via a certified vocational school. Certification in statistical Process Control; must demonstrate competency in relevant inspection methods/processes
• 6 or more years of experience in medical device Quality Control environment; or a combination of post HS education and experience providing equivalent knowledge/skill
• Mechanical/electrical skills to effectively inspect components and subassemblies
• Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with Engineers, Buyer/Planners, and Data/MRB Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leads the daily activities of the Quality Control department
• Reviews and verifies accuracy of inspection records, releases components and sub-assemblies to manufacturing using Oracle inventory management system
• Interfaces with Managers, Engineers, Buyer/Planners, and Engineering Technicians to establish and maintain inspection priorities
• Supports four employees and handles routine performance issues independently and documents annual performance reviews in collaboration with Product Inspection/QC Manager
• Etc.
JOB DETAILS:
• CONTRACT (12 months, 10/2023 - 10/2024)
• On-Site
• Oakdale, MN
• Full-Time
• 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Plus up to 2.5 hrs. Over-Time
• Pay $19 - $21/hr. (DOE)
