THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with a large manufacturing company that specializes in IT solutions, office technologies, and services.
We are seeking a Contract to Hire, Materials Administrator to contribute to their ongoing success
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in "other related duties as assigned":
• Work alongside other LMS Associates and optimize their productivity.
• Implement all LMS production policies and procedures.
• Interface with customers, sales personnel, and management as required to achieve LMS objectives.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Exercise good business judgment, initiative, and creativity.
• Personally operate various LMS equipment when necessary.
• Suggest areas of improvement for their individual sites.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional, and productive work environment.
• Provide customer satisfaction at your assigned site.
• Complete quality work on a timely basis.
• Deal with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Work with PC and Microsoft Suite software.
• Responsible for productivity monitoring, quality requirements, and quantity requirements.
• Have basic knowledge of costs and cost control.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Exercise good business judgment, initiative, and creativity.
• Personally operate various LMS equipment as required.
• High-quality production printing skills as a specialist with finishing/bindery experience and skills.
• Other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• No industry experience is required.
• Above average technical skills - the ability to upload files into multiple systems and work with different print drivers
• Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite (above average with Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite products including InDesign.
• Good communication skills - verbal, written, and electronic
• Good positive attitude, reliability, and customer service skills - ability to stay positive under stressful situations.
• Good organizational skills - multi-tasking - attention to detail.
• Takes direction well and follows up with detail.
• Understanding of the print industry and expectations in the shop and with clients.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Works well under pressure and achieve deadlines.
• Ability to work with detailed information accurately.
• Ability to communicate both written and orally.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and software.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
HOURS, PAY and BENEFITS:
• Contract-To-Hire
• On-Site
• Red Wing, MN
• Full-time
• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Pay: $ 17
