THE RIGHT STAFF is conducting a Direct Hire search for a talented, versatile, and innovative individual for a Customer Support Role with a manufacturing client located in Northeast Minneapolis. Join a team of intelligent customer service representatives who excel in proactive customer support, long-term business -to-business client retention, and technical product knowledge. Ideal candidates will have experience or education related to the Fluid Power Products Industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MANUFACTURING CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST:
• Provide technical product support and information to customers as needed.
• Provide timely and efficient assistance to customers in resolving problems including product returns; identify and recommend process improvements that will prevent further problems.
• Assist outside sales representatives & engineering with quotation process.
• Handle key accounts and relationship management thereof as required.
• Process all incoming orders in a timely manner from receipt of order through verifying product availability, pricing, terms, credit status, order entry and release.
• Monitor the status of open customer purchase orders; expedite and/or reschedule as necessary, communicating problem areas to customer.
• Manage EDI validation in the system for accuracy and changes as required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A MANUFACTURING CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST:
• Post -Secondary Education is required. Business and/or technical degree preferred; two-year Fluid Power degree desirable
• 4+ years of customer service experience in the Fluid Power Industry or equivalent education/degree.
• Should have a strong ability to multi-task, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a high attention to detail.
HOURS/PAY/BENEFITS FOR A CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALSIT:
• Full - Time: Monday - Friday - 8:00A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
• Northeast Metro Area
• Pay is $52-60K Annually
