Maintenance Manager - Direct Hire - 100% Onsite + Mon. To Fri. (1st Shift)
THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with our client, a high-growth leader in human and animal nutrition ingredients, to hire a hands-on Maintenance Manager for their facility in Clara City, MN!
This key leadership role will oversee all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance, including preventive programs, repairs, and team development. The ideal candidate is an experienced industrial maintenance professional with previous experience working in fast-paced, food-grade manufacturing environments, who excels at leading people, driving efficiency, and ensuring uptime.

Essential Job Duties:
• Lead, schedule, and supervise all plant maintenance activities, including structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general equipment repairs
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs and work order systems
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and coordinate supply orders
• Provide weekly budget and project updates to the Plant Manager
• Supervise contractors for non-emergency projects and ensure on-time, quality execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve productivity and safety issues
• Recruit, train, and lead the maintenance team while promoting a strong team-based culture
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety standards and procedures
• Serve as on-call contact for after-hours maintenance needs
• Document deviations, complete reports, and manage other projects as needed
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5-10 years of industrial maintenance management experience, ideally in food-grade manufacturing
• 5+ years of previous supervisory experience
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Proficiency with maintenance software and computer applications
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be on call as needed
Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule:
• Location: 100% Onsite in Clara City, MN
• Schedule: Monday to Friday - 1st Shift (typically 7:00 am to 4:00 pm w/ availability beyond business hours to support 24/7 facility)
• Annual Salary Range: $100, 000 to $130, 000 + Eligibility for Discretionary Incentive Plan
