THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with a well-established Minneapolis law firm to recruit a dependable and motivated Legal Assistant - Corporate to support their Corporate Group. Essential Job Duties:
• Produce, revise, and prepare legal correspondence and documents.
• Organize, compile, and digitize materials for corporate transactions.
• Manage distribution, tracking, and completion of signature pages for closings.
• Update and maintain checklists and assist in assembling closing binders.
• Maintain and update corporate minute books and related records.
• Coordinate communication between attorneys and clients, ensuring timely exchange of information.
• Handle transmission of client documents and perform document comparisons.
• Review and finalize attorney time entries; assist with billing and invoicing procedures.
• Open new matters, prepare engagement documents, and maintain electronic filing systems.
• Provide administrative assistance including calendar coordination, monitoring inboxes, arranging travel, answering calls, and submitting expense reports.
Minimum Requirements:
• Prior experience in a legal support role within a law firm.
• Background in administrative support within professional services.
• Familiarity with iManage, InTapp, or similar systems.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs and implement practical solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and quality review.
• Experience with cloud-based storage and document management platforms; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional presence, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work additional hours when necessary.
Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule:
• Direct-hire role offering comprehensive benefits including health, life, disability, 401(k), paid parental leave, and paid time off.
• Full-time onsite/hybrid schedule in downtown Minneapolis within a collaborative, professional legal setting.
• Compensation ranges from $48, 000 to $91, 000 annually, depending on experience level and expertise.
• Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
