Our client, a leader in the office equipment and service industry, has an immediate opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant with a drive to grow and expand in their role. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity in their corporate headquarters located in South Metro. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Human Resources Assistant Hours and Pay:
• Located in South Metro
• Contract-to-Hire Position
• Monday through Friday; 8:00 A.M. To 5:00 P.M.
• Pay: $17-$19 per hour (DOQ)

Human Resource Assistant Responsibilities:
• Records and maintains employee information to maintain and update payroll/HRIS system.

• Back-up to Payroll Specialist for bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Complete New Hire Appointments and processing of new employees.
• Assist in termination process including exit interviews and processing termination paperwork/updating systems.
• Assist in administering all employee benefit programs including enrollments and terminations. Processes required documents to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.

• Maintain copier supplies and arrange for copier maintenance, as needed.
• Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings, and background checks. Maintains all records relating to recruitment activities.

• Updates multiple online systems, reports and spreadsheets.

• Perform other functions as needed for the benefit plan renewal process, all employment related questions and interpretation of policies and procedures, and a Assist employees with accessing systems and resetting passwords.

Human Resources Assistant Requirements:
• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and phone presence.
• Experienced in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Detail-orientated, high degree of accuracy, and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow-up and follow-through to meet deadlines.
