THE RIGHT STAFF is currently seeking candidates for an Electronics Rework Technician opening with a growing electronics manufacturing company in Burnsville, MN. As an Electronics Rework Technician you would manually assembly/rework and repair components using microscopes, halo lights and soldering irons.

Responsibilities of an Electronics Rework Technician:
• Support customer repairs/reworks/modifications, X-ray Inspections, Installs/Removals/Replacements of Flip Chip and or BGA.
• Perform Manual Assembly duties using microscopes, halo lights and soldering iron s
• Review document packaging, such as device WIP traveler, assembly prints, and customer specific instructions.
• Duties will include color coding, dispensing solder paste, placing small components, small IC s, diodes, LED s, connectors, fine pitch, leadless components, and switches using different manufacturing tools, and supplies underneath a microscope.
• Assemble cables per customer specifications.
• Reflow assemblies via reflow oven or by hand soldering to J-STD-001 standards.
• Perform in-process inspections before and after reflow to ensure accuracy, polarity, and more.
• Support auto-assisted (SMT) assemblies, final inspections, and shipping/receiving as needed.
• Overall assemblies include low volume production support, customer repair/rework/modifications, and manufacturing support.
• other duties include review of process and procedures, making recommendations to improve efficiencies, and more.

Qualifications for an Electronics Rework Technician:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in one or more of these arenas: Hand Assembly, Cable Assembly, Final Inspection skills.
• Must have IPC- A-610D Certification and J-STD-001 Certifications (Past or Present)
