Director of National Accounts - 100% Remote (CST/EST) + Up to 70% Travel - Hiring Now!
THE RIGHT STAFF is proud to partner with a nationally recognized organization in their search for an experienced and strategic Director of National Accounts to lead sales initiatives across multiple retail channels. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building the team, structure, and strategy that drive profitable growth at the national retail level.
This position is fully approved for remote work; however, candidates located in CST or EST time zones are strongly preferred due to customer alignment and travel demands. This role may require up to 70% travel depending on seasonal priorities.
Essential Job Duties:
• Develop, manage, and monitor the annual sales budget for National Accounts
• Lead the creation and execution of monthly and yearly sales forecasts
• Drive achievement of sales targets and key performance metrics
• Review and report on sales performance, trends, and team effectiveness
• Provide leadership, development, and coaching to front-line sales managers
• Cultivate strong relationships with major retail partners, with a focus on top-tier accounts
• Build and communicate actionable implementation plans to support sales initiatives
• Evaluate market conditions to identify threats, opportunities, and strategic adjustments
• Work closely with Marketing, Customer Support, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to strengthen product offerings and sales programs
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance market presence, team performance, and customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required; master's degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years of retail experience, ideally within farming or agricultural industries
• 5+ years of experience in sales management or equivalent training
• Demonstrated success developing strategic plans and leading high-performing sales teams
• Ability to travel up to 70% based on business needs
• Candidates must be located in CST or EST time zones
Position Benefits, Location, Pay, & Schedule:
• Fully remote position, with a preference for candidates residing in CST or EST time zones
• Schedule is Monday to Friday with core office hours between 7:30 am to 5 pm
• Up to 70% travel required depending on season and business priorities
• Competitive compensation package based on experience, base salary starting at $150k + 30% annual bonus/commission
