Configuration Support Associate - Contract Opportunity - Start ASAP!
THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking a Configuration Support Associate to support our client's Configuration team during a key project period (initially expected to last 3 months in duration). This temporary role focuses on assisting with equipment setup, configuration, testing, data entry, and shipment preparation.
Job Details:
• Learn and follow customer-specific configuration processes and technical specifications to assist with equipment setup.
• Assist in the setup (unboxing) of a variety of equipment types for configuration and testing (including PCs, peripheral equipment, servers, and network equipment, etc.)
• Prepare configured devices for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
• Support configuration technicians and ensure accuracy through checklists and data entry.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Configuration Center.
• Collaborate with project management and warehouse teams to meet deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 1-year related experience OR a Two-year technical degree preferred
• Prior experience with LAN/WAN environments and terminology
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite tools
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for most of the shift and lifting up to 75 lbs. On a semi-regular basis (lift PCs, servers, peripherals, and network equipment)
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments
Culture/Benefit Perks Include:
• Full-time - 100% Onsite in Shakopee, MN
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm (Must be able to work occasional Overtime)
• Contract (project-based) projected to end 8/1/2025
• Start ASAP!
• Pay: $18.50/hr to $19.50/hr - DOE
