THE RIGHT STAFF is assisting our growing St Paul Client with hiring for Repair Technicians who have a passion for technology. This role is supporting Chromebook Repair for the K-12 education market. Idea candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of technology experience, training or a 2-year degree in computer technology OR technical certification (Comptia A+) or self-study in IT hardware support. Hobbyist interest is a plus!
The Repair Technician will work to successfully audit, document, and repair defective customer systems, adapting to achieve desired individual and team KPIs, while adhering to established quality standards, at the direction of the Repair Supervisor and Repair Lead. We support open, honest, and transparent communication, continual learning, and employee-driven initiatives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Audit defective customer systems.
• Repair the defective customer systems.
• Effectively and efficiently work to achieve successful individual audit/repair KPI's while maintaining quality
• Identify areas of concern, means of improvement, and ways to increase efficiency, communicating them to Supervisor or Lead
Minimum requirements:
• At least 1-year related work or personal experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred at least 1-year technical training from technical program or college
• Hardware certifications a plus (A+, ACMT, etc.)
• Able to lift 30+ lbs. At a time
Position, Pay, and Benefits:
• Direct Hire - Multiple Openings. Refer your friends!
• 100% On-Site - St. Paul, MN
• 1st Shift, Monday - Friday from 7:00 A.M.- 3:30 P.M.
• Pay is $20.00/hr. + performance bonus, PLUS:
A discretionary quarterly bonus (up to $1, 000.00) paid out quarterly (April, July, October and January)
