THE RIGHT STAFF IS seeking a dedicated Collection Manager to lead our client's collection team and drive operational success. If you have a background in credit and collections, especially in probate, and are eager to make an impact, we invite you to apply!
As a Collections Manager, you will spearhead our client's collection operations, guiding a team of collectors and team leads to achieve and surpass performance goals. You will be instrumental in crafting effective collection strategies, managing client relations, and upholding our high standards of customer service. Your leadership will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Essential Job Duties:
• Oversee a team of 12-15 Collectors and 2 Team Leads, focusing on their performance, development, and career growth.
• Set and drive collection targets for both clients and staff, and design strategies to maximize recovery rates.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships, managing their expectations and enhancing their experience.
• Address personnel issues, and manage the hiring, training, and termination processes for collection staff.
• Generate and analyze comprehensive reports at the client and individual collector levels.
• Manage budgetary aspects, including payroll, bonuses, incentives, and revenue forecasts.
Essential Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required.
• Proven track record with 3-5 years in credit and collections, including at least one year in a managerial role required. Experience in Probate is advantageous and preferred.
• Solid understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and relevant state and federal collection laws required.
• Experience with Artiva debt collection software, Guaranteed Contacts, and LiveVox dialer is preferred.
• Successful completion of Drug test, Criminal Background Check, Employment Verification, Education Verification, and Credit Check required.
Benefits, Pay, & Schedule:
• Direct Hire Opportunity w/ competitive benefits package included!
• Pay is $65k to $75k + quarterly incentive bonus
• Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, & Thursdays from 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesdays from 10 am to 7 pm, & rotating Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm OR 11 am to 5 pm. Bi-monthly rotating Sat hours required from 8 am to 12 pm.
• Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
