THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a dynamic mid-sized public accounting firm in their search for an Audit & Assurance Director to join their leadership team. This key role is vital for department growth and delivering top-tier audit, assurance, and advisory services to our client's esteemed privately held business clients.
Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience, an active CPA license, and a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Essential Job Duties: • Lead peer reviews and maintain quality standards. • Monitor department profitability and budget performance. • Manage client relationships and drive business development. • Mentor staff for compliance and excellence. • Oversee complex compilations and audit engagements. • Create and implement strategic objectives.
Minimum Requirements: • Minimum ten (10) years of public accounting experience. • Five (5) years managing client relationships. • CPA license and accounting degree. • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe, CaseWare, QuickBooks, and Excel.
