Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant? Are you comfortable in a manufacturing environment? THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our Client in Bloomington, MN for a full-time position. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of administrative experience and 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Job Details:
• Direct Hire or Temp to Hire
• Pay- Depending on Experience/ Qualifications ($21-$24+/hr)
• Flexible schedule but 8 hours between 7AM and 5PM with 30-60 min lunch
• Days of large projects/presentations- may be required to be there at 7AM or stay later.
• Monday through Friday

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
• Handle overall administrative activities and schedules ensuring office operations and procedures are executed and organized including scheduling and organizing meetings and conferences
• Ensure financial objectives are met by preparing annual budget for assigned areas as well as planning expenditures and purchasing for assigned areas, such as companywide meetings, celebrations, office supplies, office-equipment purchases, and facility vendor services
• Responsible for companywide communication, office calendars, company newsletter, wellness communication, phone directory, and organizational chart and proofread communications for others as requested
• Supervise maintenance vendor contracts including sourcing new vendors and requesting bids in collaboration with Facilities Maintenance Technician
• Manage assignment of company office equipment including computers, monitors, printers, and cell phones including user set up and removal with vendors
• Troubleshoot and alter office areas and conference rooms and related equipment as necessary including video conferences, copiers, Polycom phones, etc.
• Responsible for the facilities security system including electronic access cards, keys, and name badges
• Lead Wellness Committee and provide administrative support to the Safety Committee
• Run, publish, and distribute daily reports for production
• Identifies opportunities for cost savings, better efficiency, or other improvements; recommends and implements policy or process changes as appropriate.
• Acts as a liaison between departments and outside clients and vendors and is able to handle non-routine information and explain policies when necessary
• Other duties as assigned including special projects

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
• 7 years of previous administrative experience required
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English required
• Detail oriented and ability to edit/proofread document, memos, etc. Required
• Previous experience negotiating contracts with vendors preferred
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information that may be of critical and strategic nature required
• Ability to reorganize quickly around shifting priorities and deadlines, communicating changes to relevant parties required
• Must be self-motivated, work with minimal supervision ablet o perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
