This role would be performing accounts payable, payroll processing and helping with US Government donor compliance, while also being always audit ready.
Accounts Payable & Payroll Accountant Job Description: Maintain vendor records, while reviewing and verifying all Payment Request Forms and supporting documentation Entering purchase invoices into accounting system Maintain codes and all special calculations in ADP, and coding payroll expenses to grant funds where applicable. Confirm payroll accuracy for 170 people including Multi-State and International employees Participate in year - end auditing, including providing all necessary documents Distribute all reports per Pay Period, Quarter and Year ending (Quarter/Annual Reports (941/940 and W-2's)
Accounts Payable & Payroll Accountant Requirements: Formal Professional experience and/or Academic training in accounting and finance and at least 3-4 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll accounting. Current knowledge and understanding of both U.S and international payroll policies and procedures. Working knowledge of non-profit/fund accounting - Preferred Detail-oriented, organized and respect for accuracy in numbers is essential. Ability to work well under pressure with distractions while meeting deadlines
Accounts Payable & Payroll Accountant Pay and Benefits: 1-to-2-month contract role Competitive compensation of $31-$34/hour - Dependent on experience Hybrid Opportunity - 2 days in office in NE Minneapolis - Warehouse District Full Time, Monday - Friday with flexible start time between 8am-9am.
