NON-PROFIT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - DIRECT HIRE!

THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a local non-profit healthcare provider in their search for an Accounting Manager to help lead the accounting department. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, at least 3+ years of experience within the healthcare industry, and an active CPA certification. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in accounting without an active CPA certification are welcome to apply.
Essential Job Duties:
• Support budget creation, budget projections and analysis of expenses as needed.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Supports managers in the development of grant budgets and manages reporting requirements.
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
• Supervises 2 direct reports; a Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Specialist
• Promote and ensure a culture of financial transparency, consistent communication, and meaningful collaboration with colleagues.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 2+ years of supervisor experience in healthcare or related field required.
• 3+ years of healthcare accounting required.
• CPA Certification preferred.
Job Details:
• Direct-hire opportunity with excellent benefits package!
• Pay depends on experience, starting at $80k/year.
• Hybrid work model - in-office 3-days per week required.
• Located in South Minneapolis
• Monday to Friday - 8 am to 5 pm
