Accounting Assistant - Temp to Hire Opportunity!
THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking qualified candidates for a Temp-hire Accounting Assistant position for our client, a leading distributor of specialty metal products. This position will join their finance team located in Shoreview, MN. Ideal candidates will have experience handling general accounting duties including AR and AP, reconciliation, costing and inventory.

Job Details:
• Support a bi-weekly payroll process for all company employees
• Handle general accounting duties including AR and AP.
• Provide support in monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliation; costing and inventory
• Support a bi-weekly payroll process of 26 union employees (verifying hours, deductions, changes in pay and etc.)
• Work closely with the finance team and key contacts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of tasks assigned
• Be an employee resource to address questions and corrective changes or adjustments.
Minimum Requirements:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2+ years of general accounting experience.
• SAGE 100 experience or any similar software
• Must have Accounting and general ledger knowledge (AR and AP) experience
• Strong computer skills to effectively create and modify reports and spreadsheets (Excel)
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and support to all employees
Schedule, Pay, And Benefits:
• Office Located in Shoreview, MN
• 100% Onsite
• Monday - Friday; Full-time (7:30am - 4:30pm or 8am-5pm)
• Pay starts at $50k-60k (Depending on experience)
