Technical Support Engineer - Hybrid/Onsite - Downtown, Minneapolis

JOB DETAILS:
• Pay ranges from $60, 000 to $90, 000 DOE
• Location: Downtown Minneapolis, MN - hybrid/onsite schedule
• Direct hire opportunity
• Full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide tiered support for internal users, assisting with application functionality, system questions, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and basic automation to streamline workflow processes across the organization.
• Support application enhancements by participating in testing, documentation, and coordination with development resources.
• Assist with cloud environment tasks, including license management and resource optimization within Azure or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and contribute to solution development.
• Maintain documentation related to applications, processes, and routine tasks.
• Support security best practices by assisting with audits, compliance requirements, and monitoring activities.
• Participate in process improvement efforts, recommending enhancements that improve efficiency and system reliability.
• Contribute to team discussions, project meetings, and knowledge sharing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in application engineering, technical support, or software-related troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (such as PowerShell, VBScript, or batch scripting) as well as proficiency in Database management and SQL.
• Experience with application development concepts, system integrations, or workflow tools.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changes, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Omnissa and Broadcom
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.G., Azure).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Document Management methodologies (e.G., iManage Suite)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
