Do you possess SMT or soldering experience? THE RIGHT STAFF is currently seeking an SMT Inspector to join a growing manufacturer in the Southwest Saint Paul, MN area. This individual must be able to accurately and proficiently assemble emitters on boards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read work orders, follow production build, and perform duties as needed.
Inspect products under microscope.
Utilize various tools such as tweezers and other hand tools for testing.
Solder components, wires, etc. Onto circuit boards.
Join circuit boards together through bare wire and soldering.
Provide rework on printed circuit boards and components to meet IPC-610 standards.
Repair/remove SMT components efficiently and effectively without causing product damages.
Accurately assemble emitters on circuit boards.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read and write in English and perform basic math problems.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time assembling small parts.
2-3 years of detailed inspection experience.
1-2 years experience in hand placement and soldering.
Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials (BOM).
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
IPC-610 Training/Certification preferred.
Surface Mount Technology (SMT) electronic component assembly a plus.
Ability to pass a background check.

HOURS AND BENEFITS:
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00/hourly DOE plus bonuses.
Monday - Thursday, 6: 30 A.M. To 5: 00 P.M., with additional OT every other Friday, 7: 00 A.M. To 12 P.M.
Locations: Mendota Heights, MN
