Benefits of the Payroll Specialist:

• Located in Edina.
• Contract with Contract-to-hire potential for the right candidate!
• Open to either Part or Full-Time hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
• Assist in the keying, processing, and distributing multi-state biweekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees utilizing Paylocity.
• Daily time entry and labor report distribution to key customers.
• Respond to calls from employees in a timely and customer friendly manner.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year end reports.
• Identify and review job costing reports for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Enter new hire information and process terminations in Paylocity.
• Maintain and enter employee changes into Paylocity including levies and garnishments.
• Set up new states for payroll as needed.
• Complete and respond to employment verification inquires and unemployment verifications.

Requirements of the Payroll Specialist:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate s degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of processing multi-state payroll required.
• Prior experience processing payroll utilizing Paylocity.
• Strong sense of urgency and flexibility.
• Strong customer service skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and produce a high volume of work accurately.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
