Our client in the St. Paul, MN area has an immediate need for a Facilities/Office Services Specialist with experience in facilities management and administrative tasks. This position will manage all day-to-day facility and office functions in the home office. We are seeking candidates who are accurate, detailed, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a great team! This is a contract-to-hire opportunity paying $20 to $23 per hour.

Facilities/Office Services Specialist Hours and Pay:
• Contract-to-Hire
• Location: St. Paul, MN
• Pay: $20 to $23 per hour (DOQ)
• Hours: Monday Friday, 8: 00am to 5: 00pm

Facilities/Office Services Specialist Responsibilities:
• Monitors and oversees the building systems including but not limited to: HVAC, mechanical, fire/life safety, physical security, access, office equipment and property. Research and resolve any problems related to facility operations.
• Coordinates on-site visits with vendors and contractors for all routine facility maintenance and repairs, as well as any building modifications, and negotiation of contracts with vendors.
• Coordinating and overseeing building projects, renovations, or refurbishments.
• Serves as the Records Retention Administrator: maintains the records database and manages the logistics of all incoming and outgoing records.
• Provide budget management for facility operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Orders and maintains inventory of all office and printing supplies, kitchen and convenience center supplies, and stocks all convenience centers, as needed.
• Assists with managing the setup of conference rooms and monitors and maintains the LCD equipment schedules.
• Provides backup to Mailroom: sorts and prepares incoming and outgoing mail/packages, provides courier services between the home office, plant, distribution center, and other locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Facilities/Office Services Specialist Requirements:
• Associate s Degree in Business Administration or Facilities and 2 years office experience with records management in professional business environment
• OR, High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 3 to 4 years office experience with records management in professional business environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, typing, and 10-key skills
• Experience in facilities management and project management strongly preferred
• Knowledge in general business administration practices and procedures
• Knowledge of HVAC, security systems and any other facilities related practices and procedures
• Must have ability to communicate with multiple leads on projects
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and prioritize and organize work
