• Pay is $50-60k annually

Responsibilities for the Architectural Estimator:
• Creates an accurate sales estimate within acceptable profit margins
• Reviews construction documents including plans and specifications and defines scope of work to bid
• Prepares pricing for labor, machining, materials, equipment, tooling or any and all other components as required to manufacture every job per customer requirements and satisfaction
• Diligently follows up on all cost estimates to obtain sales or negotiate sales within the established company guidelines and profit margins
• Actively follows up and pursues sales leads, prioritizing opportunities consistent with company guidelines
• Receives new orders and collects information as required. Communicates closely with Project Mangers to ensure smooth processing through the system
• Assists independent reps, contractors and architects in selecting appropriate products when specifications are unclear or in cases when there is not a specification
• Collects information on lost quotes for use in evaluating opportunities to increase win ratios on future work

Requirements for the Architectural Estimator:
• Bachelor s degree preferred; Associate s degree required
• 1-5 years of prior estimating experience
• Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous experience with CRM required
