THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a global distributor and manufacturer in their search for a Warehouse Supervisor II to manage 2nd shift warehouse operations in their mega warehouse 30+ miles northeast of Nashville, TN! The focus of the position is to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes to meet both departmental and organizational goals.
Essential Job Duties: • Lead and develop warehouse team members • Manage daily operations and process improvements. • Partner with Operations Manager and other Supervisors to meet quality standards. •. Recruit, train, and evaluate warehouse staff. • Communicate policies and ensure compliance. • Support KPIs: Engagement, Safety, On Time Delivery, and Productivity. • Conduct daily meetings and ensure necessary supplies are available. • Manage small teams and address complaints/resolve issues.
Minimum Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required. • 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred. • 5+ years of warehouse operations experience preferred. • Certification to operate warehouse equipment preferred. • Strong Microsoft Office skills required. • Ability to coach and develop others. • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Ability to influence with and without authority.
Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule: • Position will be stationed at the Portland, TN facility. • 100% onsite • Schedule is Monday to Friday - 2nd shift hours - between 12 pm and 12 am. • All candidates must have some flexibility to work extended hours across 1st and 2nd shifts. • Salaried position - the pay starts at $55, 000/year and depends on experience. • Direct-hire opportunity!
