Are you looking for a senior level position within the Engineering field? If so, THE RIGHT STAFF wants to talk to YOU! We are looking to hire a Senior Industrial Engineer for our client in the Metro Area.

Senior Industrial Engineer Benefits and Hours:
• Located: Metro Area
• Monday-Friday 8: 00 A.M. 5: 00 P.M.
• Pay: $38.00 hour

Senior Industrial Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
• Use LEAN tools to improve production controls, line clearance, material flow, 5S, and productivity at sites in MN and TX.
• Lead a cross functional team with overall accountability for scope, schedule and budget. Hold regular report meetings with Sr. Leadership
• Use mathematical methods and models to capture data to be used in decision making and to design manufacturing and information systems leading to process improvements, waste reduction, and improved performance.
• Facilitate kaizen events targeting key improvements to drive productivity, data management/collection, and paperwork handling improvements.
• Study and design layout of equipment and workspace, material flow and operations sequence to improve efficiencies.
• Enhance methods of organization, quality & control within manufacturing.

Senior Industrial Engineer Required Skills:
• Bachelor s degree in Industrial or other Engineering discipline required.
• 5+ years experience leading LEAN initiatives within a medical device manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with operating in an ISO 13485 environment.
• Significant experience with mistake-proofing, line clearance, and material flow.
• Ability to develop process maps, flow charts and floor layouts.
• Ability to analyze data and process inputs to justify improvements.
• Ability to assist in financial planning and cost analysis by estimating production labor and equipment costs.
• Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form.
• Strong technical writing and change management experience.
• Must be familiar with PC's and Microsoft Office.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30%.
