Do you have an eye for detail and previous experience with measuring tools? Our client located in Coon Rapids is currently seeking an experience Quality Inspector to join their team in a long term role. In this role you will work closely with the engineering and production team to launch new products and follow up with proper documentation for customer approval. This position requires you to be skilled in the use of several types of measuring equipment and be able to interpret and understand complex blueprints. Apply today!

Pay is $20.00 per hour
Hours are 1st shift
Located in Coon Rapids, MN

Job Duties of the Quality Inspector:
Fully inspects parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparator, gage pins and height and depth gages
Completes all paperwork for First Article and PPAP submissions
Develops molding/second ops. In-process and receiving inspection plans
Works with mold technicians when sampling new/revised parts to make sure the product being made meets requirements
Follows all safety policies and procedures
Arrives to work on time and ready to work
Prepares sample parts for shipment to the customer for approval
Is honest and respectful with all coworkers, vendors, suppliers and friends of the company
Performs all other duties as directed, requested or assigned by your supervisor


Qualifications of the Quality Inspector:

High School Diploma or GED
Stable work history
Good attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior use of measuring tools such as: calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparator, go/no go gages, gage pins and height and depth gages
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of GD&T
1-2 years of experience in a quality role
Prior experience in an injection molding facility
Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines
Prior experience completing First Articles/PPAPs
