PAYMENT PROCESSOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Opens and sorts incoming mail by receipt type
• Prepares and processes incoming cash receipts
• Performs reformatting and FTP processes for deposit and payment files
• Performs data entry of all batch types
• Researches and performs online corrections for all edit errors
• Posts transactions to the loan records
• Balances all refund, correction and adjustment batches to ensure that the amount entered is equal to the amount of the refund or adjustment
• Researches accounts to determine overpayments on loan records
• Processes, researches, and resolves returned mail

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years of office based experience
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge and skills working in a computer based office suite environment; Microsoft Windows or Mac Office
• Detail oriented
• Basic mathematical aptitude

HOURS AND BENEFITS:
• Full time day hours Monday - Friday
• $16 per hour
• Long term contract position with the opportunity for Temp to Hire
• Located Downtown Minneapolis
