Immediate openings for a Medical Device Technician in Shoreview! These are temp to hire positions on both 1st and 2nd shift. Medical Device Technician are responsible for all aspects of assembling filter testers, flowmeters, control monitors, calibrators, and other testing instruments. This is a very independent position. The RIGHT candidate must be self-motivated, focused, and have good troubleshooting abilities!

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7: 00 A.M. - 3: 30 P.M.
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2: 45 P.M. - 1: 15 A.M.

Medical Device Technician Responsibilities include:
• Utilizing computers and software to read, assemble, and document processes
• Assemble devices and instruments using assembly tools such as torque drivers, calipers, and test equipment
• Perform troubleshooting and make mechanical and electrical repairs by testing components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to ensure quality and efficiency of devices
• Maintain inventory carts, tools, and fixtures

Medical Device Technician Qualifications:
• Must have a 2 year degree or equivalent certificate in Electrical Technician
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in assembly, troubleshooting, and repair
• Ability to read and write proficiently in English: following written procedures and properly documenting work performed
• Must be computer savvy: Access work orders through the database and communicate via outlook.
• Must have high attention to detail: managing inventory, verifying SKU numbers, and assemble small parts
• Proficient in the use of technical assembly tools: must have good dexterity with experience in medical or electrical assembling
• Soldering experience preferred
