Insurance Account Executive - Commercial Lines

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMERICAL INSURANCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
• Provide a high level of sales support to Producers and excellent customer service to business clients.
• Assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with the agency and Producers goals. Provide field service in support of Producer activities.
• Work with the Producer to design and recommend proper insurance and risk management programs to agency clients
• Meet directly with clients, negotiate and sell insurance lines, design insurance, and risk management services.
• Provide clients with a full exposure analysis and reviews methods of handling risks.
• Sell in place of or in coordination with the Producer.
• Lead accounts through the renewal process.
• Assist in the development of long-term personal relationships with the appropriate insurance carrier personnel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE SALES EXECUTIVES
• Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of prior related Insurance Account Management experience or training.
• Property and Causality Licensing Required.
• Requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion in order to meet service needs.
• Full knowledge of insurance industry required for full cycle support.
• Must be willing to travel and hold a valid driver s license.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a proven ability to prioritize business appropriately, provide long-term client support, and meet challenges resourcefully.
• Should have 3+ years of Agency Management Software, AMS360 or equivalent and have Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
