Inside Sales Representative

Do you want to be a part of a company that has been in business for over 92 years!? THE RIGHT STAFF is currently seeking Customer Service Representatives for our client located in Saint Paul! This is a CONTRACT TO HIRE opportunity paying $15 - 17/hour!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carries out all duties and responsibilities with an emphasis on safety.
• Answers telephones promptly using an appreciative, knowledgeable, and willing to help attitude.
• Receives customer orders over the phone, fax, e-mail and in person. Writes up the orders accurately and completely, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Processes customer orders by performing order entry on a PC, order printing, product and private label requests, separating and distributing copies of order forms, obtaining and allocating freight costs, preparing order forms of shipped goods for invoicing, and handling specific needs of the customers.
• Receives and investigates customer complaints, and promptly provides feedback to the customer as to how and when the situation will be resolved. Refers non-routine and major complaints and requests to the sales representative of that account or to the customer service supervisor.
• Investigates any problem shipping situations, such as delays or shortages, and promptly reports the cause and expected delivery date, etc., to the customer.
• Maintains customer files, purchase order records and merchandise records.
• Uses a personal computer to perform return authorization tracking, print private labels, and prepare and run various weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintains customer service reference book with current tax codes, freight rates, etc.
• Maintains open communication with other Bro-Tex departments to identify any special needs or requirements of customers, and to generally assure that the needs and satisfaction of the customers are met.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Makes follow up calls to customers checking stock, receives orders, and maintains notes on CRM program on the PC.
• Assembles sample packs, swatch books and other special projects as needed
• Coordinates customer sorbent pick-ups with the designated pick-up service.
• Prepares sample packets as needed for shows, customer inquiries, etc.
• Assists the sales staff with correspondence by typing memos, letters and quote.
• Works on special projects and performs other duties as required or requested.
• Cleans up work area daily and as required.

Essential Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using Microsoft office programs on personal computer.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines without comprising consistency in the process
• Experience with ACT! Or other CRM program a plus.

Hours and Benefits for Customer Service Representative:
• Pay: $15-17
• Monday Friday from 8: 30 A.M. 5: 00 P.M.
