We are partnering with our client in the Anoka, MN area in their search for an Accounting Manager. If you have accounting experience in a long term care facility, possess detailed accounting skills, and thrive in a fast paced setting, we have an opportunity for you! This is a contract opportunity.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for: AR, AP, Cash Flow, Fixed Asset Accounting, Day-to-Day Accounting, and Financial Reporting.

Accounting Manager Hours and Pay:
• Located in Anoka, MN
• Monday Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Pay $28 - $30 per hour

Accounting Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervision of 1-2 accounting clerks
• Develop & improve the automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures
• Respond timely to inquiries regarding accounting policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and outside stakeholders
• Ensure necessary follow-up and issue resolution
• Process improvements of the accounting function
• General ledger accounts are reconciled on a routine basis
• Reporting is accurate and meets the needs of outside stakeholders
• Cash flow is maximized to meet the needs of the company

Accounting Manager Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Experience in the health care industry, long term care
• 4 + years professional accounting experience in a lead and/or supervisory capacity
• Must be self-motivated with strong ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
• Excellent communications skills
• Can-do attitude a must
